Yellow Bird 4 Year Old Tennessee Whiskey｜ Other Products

Yellow Bird 4 Year Old Tennessee Whiskey is distilled and bottled in Columbia, Tennessee, south of Nashville. The mash bill is 80% locally sourced No. 2 dent corn, 10% rye and 10% malted barley, and the whiskey ages at least four years in new American oak barrels with a No. 4 char before bottling at 90 proof. It is robust and full-bodied, with caramel and baking spice led by cinnamon, then layers of pipe tobacco and vanilla. The finish is lingering, with light smoke, oak and a fresh-bread note from the malt. Sweet and spicy on the palate, it drinks well neat and holds up in a Manhattan or a whiskey and cola. This 750ml bottle is a local Tennessee alternative to the big Lynchburg and Tullahoma names, with a real age statement at a fair price.
