We picked a lightweight silky polyester knit for the skirt lining (Knit so it would stretch over the bump since we figured baby would grow more before the big day.), a sturdy ponte de roma for the base layer of the bodice, a rayon spandex for the bodice lining, and a soft stretchy tulle for the skirt and bodice overlays
True to size
Avoid pulling the waistband higher than intended to hide extra material. Try a partial tuck only if it suits your styling preference.
A bias-cut design can follow the body differently from a straight-grain design, depending on the material and construction. A jacket's endpoint can interrupt the outline of a skirt, so check how the pieces look together.
Stop if a tool catches or changes the intended texture. If the apparent lint is actually shedding from the skirt, ask the seller about the material.
