A hand-signed pair of PSC x Mani Adidas Spezial trainers, numbered 16 of just 200 pairs, released on 21 December 2024 in collaboration with Gary “Mani” Mounfield, the legendary bassist of The Stone Roses and Primal Scream.
Created with Platinum Shoe Care (PSC), the limited-edition release celebrated Mani's enduring influence on British music and terrace culture. Each pair was built using authentic Adidas Spezial trainers before being shipped to Mani, who personally hand-signed every pair prior to their return to PSC for distribution, a meticulous process that made this one of the studio's most ambitious collaborations.
Finished in a distinctive green suede colourway inspired by the visual language of The Stone Roses, the trainers feature Mani's embroidered signature, limited-edition numbering (16/200) embroidered on both heels, custom lemon heel tabs referencing the band's iconic artwork, and are presented in the original custom Stone Roses-themed presentation box.
The trainers are accompanied by their original Certificate of Authenticity, issued by PSC and confirming the edition number, launch date and authenticity of the release.
Following Mani's passing in November 2025, fewer than a year after this collaboration launched, these trainers have become a poignant reminder of one of British music's most beloved bassists. As one of only 200 pairs personally signed by Mani, they represent both a highly collectible sneaker collaboration and a lasting tribute to his legacy.
