Homeboy Sandman: Kindness For Weakness Vinyl LP｜ Other Products

6th album from Queens MC Homeboy Sandman! The Ivy League-educated rapper who’s also attended law school is a champion of sharp verses, and the music on Kindness For Weakness is “Sandman’s most poignantly lyrical release to date.” The beats are eclectic and/or melodic with soul, funk, and jazz influences, and they remain subtle/in the background to let the lyrics take centerstage—check out tracks like “Real New York,” “Funkhouse,” “Talking (Bleep),” and “Sly Fox” as top-shelf bars from the Stones Throw artist touches on “personal insecurities, rapper stereotypes, and morality.”
