Top Choice｜Moodymann: DJ-Kicks Vinyl 3LP｜ Other Products

For the 50th release of !K7's DJ-Kicks series, Detroit dance music icon Moodymann turns in a 75-minute "blues-drenched" journey consisting of soul, hip-hop, disco, house, and beyond. KDJ's sets are the stuff of legend, and the unpredictable, esoteric selections that allow for a consistently surprising, intimate listening experience are presented here. The best part is, 9 tracks out of the 19 gems spared over 3 LPs are exclusive Moodymann edits, and you can obviously expect tasteful touch-ups of Beady Belle's "When My Anger Starts To Cry," SLF & Merkin's "Tag Team Triangle," Jai Paul's "BTSTU," and Flying Lotus' "Tea Leaf Dancers." Recommended!
